Meet Our Team - Jeffrey Meiler

As the Chief Operating Officer, Jeffrey is responsible for Upgrade’s personal loan product and operational strategy.

Jeffrey has held various management positions throughout his 30 year career in financial services, overseeing products as diverse as personal loans, credit cards, HELOC, auto loans and mobile payments. Jeffrey led Barclays’ efforts in the US near prime card space, and was Head of Strategy & Corporate Development for the US card business. Barclaycard became a top ten US card issuer during Jeffrey’s tenure.   

Immediately prior to joining Upgrade, Jeffrey spent 10 years as the Founder and CEO of Best Egg, a leading issuer of personal loans.

Jeffrey received his BA from Franklin & Marshall College and MBA from University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business.
